Life on the water is busy and refuse collections start early…

It was time to deep clean Liquid Asset and nothing to say really except it lasted for most of the day. It also included checking the anchor chain and recalibration (again), flushing seawater out of the outboard engine, rinsing sea water off the decks and packing away the bimini.

Cooking on board is finished. The stove swings on gimbals during the voyage to stay level. Clamps also hold the pots in place in very rough seas. So time to visit Dartmouth for a wander and check out the eateries.

We wandered through narrow streets and passed the church. We watched the bell ringers tug at their ropes and the sound of the bells chimed out over the town. The tune could even have been ‘Westminster Quarters’ ?

Our Voyage of Discovery draws to an end. 14 days of life at sea where nature still plays an important part in the direction of travel. A wonderful experience.
P.S. The American Y7 yacht ‘Miss Shell’ has sailed around Finisterre and across the Bay of Biscay.

“Good night” zzzzz
